Why isn’t Jason White a legitimate member of Green Day?

I see him on in concert, on music videos…but never in like band photos poster..why?

It’s probably something to do with Green Day’s record contract. He’s a full member of The Network and Foxboro Hot Tubs. (Just a guess.)
